Welcome to DDR Encore

Well, excuses aside, it's time for a mega awesome update of doom, the likes of which have not been seen in AGES! To start it off, we finally have our first licensed track, provided with full rights from Monolithic himself! House of Joy is a very melodic song with captivating lyrics. Steps have been in the making for a VERY long time, but the time has come for it to be available for everyone to try it out! Please visit Monolithic's website and download other songs of his, and tell him we sent you. Lyrics included.

Next, we have Anisakis -somatic mutation type”Forza”-. An incredible song off of IIDX, this song has everything you could be looking for. Using practically every aspect that could be used in the making, this is sure to be one that will keep everyone dancing for a time to come. This is also Hyper2k1's first complete entry for the site, so give him a round of applause!

Following Anisakis, We have The Detonator. This file is extremely complex, moreso than Anisakis, and uses several aspects that you will not even see in DDR Official Boss songs. BPM Stops and drills that keep you on your feet are just part of the plague that this file represents, which makes it one of the hardest that Encore has to offer to date. This file is Kimono's first complete Submission to the site, so I think appluase is required for this one too.

4 Minutes is a song many people who stay up to date with mainstream tunes should know and love! This file, though rather simple in comparison to the rest of the update is VERY catchy and deserves to be a part of Encore in many ways. Stepped by Razma, it uses many aspects used in easier official DDR songs, though it still has some difficult parts for the newer players to get aquainted with. Video is included, as far as I can tell.

Voodoo People (Pendulum Mix) is our last simfile in this update. Also created by Kimono, this one is sure to please many people with it's crossovers and BPM Changes. I can't think of much else to say on the matter, so I suppose I should leave it at that.

The forums are also back up to 100% somehow. Apparently someone on the team fixed them, so they are availble to be used at any time, so please, Comment, leave suggestions, and do whatever else tickles your fancy, and again, Thanks for Visiting Encore!

Jump!

Here's a blast from the past! Jump is a classic cover of the Van Halen song by the same name. It was also intended to be on DDR 1st mix, however, it got pulled for reasons unknown (at least, unknown to us at Encore) before the game got released. So, to celebrate this file, we have made the chart as 1st Mixey as possible, with a set of Oni Difficulties to give at least SOME form of a challenge!

Tear It Up (05/10/08)

Tonight we have for you an incredible song from back in the beatmania 5-key ages. Tear It Up is a Minimalistic Drum and Bass song with some deep vibes. We may have some more for you tomorrow as well, so keep visiting DDR Encore!

Forums Fixes, Site Update (05/05/08)

Our Forums are currently working at 100% again today, so take advantage of it and let us know how we are doing! We have also seperated our songfiles page into a couple seperate sections, based off of release and song set it's included in.

Tonight we have a new remix from TERRA. This chillout-style remix of Baby Baby Gimme Your Love is sure to cool you down after a long set of harder simfiles, and has a refreshing new feel to it as well!

We also hope to have a couple more files available as of tomorrow, May 5th. We also regret to inform you that our forums are having some issues once again, and we hope that the problems will not last as long this time. We sincerely apologize for any issues this causes.

Another Update (04/26/08)

We hope that you love Micheal Jackson for today's Update! This cover of the classic 1984 single should be enough to satisfy your needs if you miss his music or even if you just want a challenge. More of a rhythm challenge than anything, I think that it ended up getting a really good set of steps, and I hope everyone enjoys it! ~Spork

DM Ashura's DDR Encore Premiere Songs! 5 New Songs! (04/23/08)

Today we have quite the surprise for both you and us! DM Ashura is allowing us to host his TaQ pack from ages past! This pack consists of five seperate songs by the artist TaQ, and was originally posted on BMS as a special download. Sadly, this pack stopped being available a couple years back, and we have had the luck to manage to maintain these sims in our collection. Each of these files are fun to play and make a great addition to the DDR Encore songlist. Download them now in our songfiles page. Be sure to keep track of new stuff coming out from DM Ashura and the rest of the Encore team as well!

As a bonus, today we have also added in a simfile counter at the top of this page. Everytime we add a new file, it will let you know, so if the number is different when you visit next, it means that a new file has been added! We hope this helps people keep up to date with our work.

Also, I would like to take this time to let everyone know that we are planning a tournament and get together based off of Encore in Colorado Springs sometime late summer, and would like to see who all would be interested! If you are not from around the area, I'm sure we can figure out hotel information and such to accomodate everyone and make this event a great success!

Spork! Edit: I went ahead and added another file tonight on top of DM's! Pretty Young Girl is a classic 80's song that captivated my interest about a week ago, so I went ahead and stepped it! It's probably going to be the easiest Encore song we'll ever release, so you best all enjoy it, or at least try to. Don't let the cheese overwhelm you!

All New Forums are Now Online! (4/16/08)

Well go figure but while Spork slept most of the day after playing DDR until 3 in the morning. I, Myst, was stuck in front of my PC building new forums for everyone, so ya better be saying toasty to this. These forums are for those who want to be talking actively and productively about DDR and not just about getting comments on our songfiles. (Although we really would like comments and suggestions to make sure we are better than any other sim site out there.) Also forums have a few more added features like pre-loaded avatars in case you don't have one of your own. This is just one great step to getting DDR Encore the best site for DDR. The only downer to this is that we could not save the user table so everyone has to re-register again. Right now you do not have be registered to download most of the songfiles but that may change in the future. So enjoy and we look forward to chatting with you!

Banners of a possible value to you (4/21/08)

In a effort to help fund our projects we have going for Encore, you may every now and then see an ad banner at the bottom of every page that leads to my eBay store, MystBay. While I do sell a large variety of trading card game cards like Pokemon, I also team up with Spork and other members of the Encore to sell some of their stuff. Right now we are in a big project to help get Encore really going for all of us. For personal reasons we are not revealing what details this project details but I can say it will be better for alot of us to get this site really going. So if you see anything you might like below feel free to click it. Don't worry you are not going to get hailed with hundreds of Pop-ups or get spyware in your computer. Time to Move is Best Mix 1.5 Winner! A New Song Revealed! Forums Under Construction! Oh My! (04/15/08)

Great News everyone! Spork has successfully won Best Mix 1.5x with his song Time To Move! This song slowly fought its way through 34 other good songs and managed to win. We originally planned on keeping it away from public for a while, but seeing as it has been downloaded quite a few times over at Best Mix, it would be pointless to hold it back from everyone. We also have another new song this evening. Lay All Your Love On Me (Millenium Mix) by Abbacadabra is an amazing cover of the old Abba song that has captivated Spork's attention for some time now.

Last we sadly are closing down the forums for the time being until we can successfully rebuild them and intergrate them into the site. This will allow us to expand the site in the future as well with even more content! So hang tight for a even bigger DDR Encore! We hope to have the forums up and running by the end of next week.

Pro Tip: Solo on DDR was named after the avid Nascar Enthusiast, Han Solo.

Big Update! (04/14/08)

Today we have done a few new things to spice up everyone's life! First off, all sims (minus a couple we're holding back) are now available off of our songlist page! On top of that, we revamped said page to make sim searching easier for everyone! New sims today include:
