What have we learned about developing versions of Dance Dance Revolution so far:
DanceDanceRevolution (Project Name - XBox 360/PS3)
This version was originally announced at last year's E3 slated for release around the same time as that of DDR Hottest Party 3 and DDR X2. Obviously that did not happen. Since then the game has been postponed four times since then, now projecting a release date for October 2010 (source Gamestop.com). The only new features known to the new PS3 and X-Box 360 version is a new 8-panel mode in a design simular to that of the old Techno Motion arcade's 8-panel, in addition to a whole new downloadable content library to feature songs from all of the past arcade versions of Dance Dance Revolution. There is a trailer still floating around on the internet for the new version from last year's E3 but with nearly a year gone by it can be safe to say the content from the old trailer may no longer be the same.
Update: Still no news concerning a 360/PS3 version in the Konami.com/e3 site EVEN after press conference. Assuming project is cancelled.
