In The Groove's killer songs Determinator Euphoria Hardcore Of The North Pandemonium Summer ~Speedy Mix~ Vertex^2
Dance Dance Revolution's killer songs Fascination Maxx Fascination ~Eternal Love Mix~ Pluto Relinquish Paranoia ~Hades~ NGO
Right now, I think In The Groove has a lot harder songs than Dance Dance Revolution, but DDR is catching up very quickly with songs like FELM & Pluto Relinquish.
What do you guys think?

Well, personally, I feel the whole existence of In The Groove is to give the more advanced players somewhere to go to get a challenge. So naturally they're going to have the harder songs. Konami is so concerned with keeping the game rather simple so that they can attract newcomers that they're forgetting that they have/had a loyal fan base that wanted harder songs. They just seem to ignore it.
If I want a challenge, I go to my ITG machine. If I want to play some nostalgic songs, I go to DDR.

Well as far as harder songs, I think that ITG has the lead on that but I think that the reason for that is cause I feel that DDR doesn't know the differents between Hard and Ridiculous as far as there stepcharts go....For example Pluto Relinquish in oni or Paranoia Hades in oni are both stupidly hard but the heavy chart are good in my book....ITG on the other hand has songs like Summer and Pandy that are just really hard but very possible to figure out how to do and not so impossible that you have to kill yourself to beat them.

Right now I think ITG has got the lead on more Challenging songs, while there are times DDR just brings out songs that make you go what the heck these days? Super Samerai anyone?

X - The only reason charts like Pluto Relinquish or Paranoia ~Hades~ are uber hard is because of the insane amount of crossovers. I think FELMO was the only well put together (for DDR at least) oni chart that's actually challenging. Konami just needs to stay away from crossovers.
Myst - What's wrong with Super Samurai? I haven't played it yet, so are there lots of 16th runs, or crossovers, or what? The only thing I know is that it's 170 bpm, unless that's wrong too.

Some of the charts actually seem auto-generated in my opinion. I wonder what the hardest song in the next ddr will be? Probably some remix of Fascination or a new boss song by Jun that's similar to Paranoia ~Hades~
