As I am enjoying my weekend (taking a break from building on DDREncore) I wanted to get back to getting the final trophy I need for LittleBigPlanet. So I thought there is no crime in announcing my levels here! If you play LBP, please take the time to check out these levels, and Heart them if you love them. Also I am really scrapping for Author Hearts so please show me that you care!
Hanging by a Thread - NEWEST LEVEL This is a survival challenge where you must swing from string to string to stay alive, collect as many bubbles as you can. Also the longer you last the faster the ropes will start to move, so you really got to keep on your toes! Soccer Goalie! In Soccer Goalie you have to try to block by grabbing pushing whatever all of the soccer balls that come flying toward your goal! Point bubbles will drop along the way as you move about the playfield.
Woodworks I will be quite honest that I was not going for anything particular in Woodworks. Basically it is a simple looking but challenging to complete platformer level. No story really unless you count my subtle message at the end of the level. Realistically I took a "building blocks" approach to this level, then I lit it on fire, which worked very nice for the most part. as the paths are straight, fluent, and to the point. There are a few fun features. First off there are sixteen prize bubbles located through out the course, many of them well hidden or require a small amount of brains to get to. Some of these prizes are more simple creations of my own ranging from a match all the way to a fire extinguisher, others are stickers that I designed on my own, not just photos, actual graphical art much of which I created all on my own. I also put a lot of traditional features as seen in the story levels of LittleBigPlanet. First off there is a sticker switch that one of my prize stickers you find later in the level will activate a race gate. So the level has replay value since if you want a good score you will need to go back and trigger the race to earn the points that will set you apart from the crowd. Next part is a mini-survival challenge which if you can survive a rolling flaming boulder that comes after you, you win 3 of the 16 prizes, if you fail the last activated checkpoint will already have moved you to the next part of the stage missing out on those prizes. I also have a simple yet challenging 2 player challenge where 2 of the prizes are held. I also have a anti-chamber holding 3 prizes if you find 5 of the 6 sticker prizes elsewhere in the course. So tons of replay value in this level. I also took a more traditional approach to the prizes for finishing the course. Finishing the course eans some simplistic photos based on the theme of the level. Acing the course earns some snapshots of cool costumes I have created based on the level (much like how in story mode you earned costume parts for acing levels). If you collect all of the prizes, you get some snapshots of original concept ideas for my level. (Once again based off of story mode prizes for collecting all prizes). All in all should be a good laugh and a good time in this level. This is my best level yet for LBP so please play this one out! Crane Game I made Crane Game specifically to share alot of the different contraptions I built. The game is simple walk up to the crane game, use the 3-way switch to guide the claw to where you want it to drop and then press the red button to drop the claw and try to catch one, two, three... maybe even four prizes at once. There will be up to six different prizes every week. Read the posts below to see what different prizes I have created. Remember you can only use the crane game once each play through so you will have to replay the level over as many times needed to grab all of the prizes. Missed a week? No worry older prizes will be hidden... IN THE GIANT MAZE! Giant Maze 1 In my first Giant Maze (I intend to do one once a year), you simply navigate a giant maze that spans the entire level playing field. In order to access the finish, you must navigate four quadrants of the maze and find the four colored balloons. When you find a balloon, release it by grabbing the dissolve holding it down. When all four balloons are released you must return to the maze finish to complete the race. You have 2000 seconds to complete the entire course, this may seem like a lot of time however you are bound to run into a lot of dead ends. There are several score bubbles of course, many of them in higher quantities when you really take a bad wrong turn. In time there will be prize bubbles added to the maze which will contain some cool toy or sticker of my own construction that you can use in your levels, check out the posts below to see what I built next and where they will be located in the maze. Tips for getting a good score in the maze: When you see a balloon station, make that a focusing point and start to work either clockwise or counter-clockwise towards reaching it. When you do see it, really start to pay attention to where you go otherwise you might get lost again after you get out of the maze. If you see score bubbles, in your path, chances are you are taking a wrong turn, in fact the score bubbles for the most part are strategically placed to distract you from your main goal. You will earn a higher score by simply focusing on finding the balloons. The blue balloon's quadrant is by far the hardest and the most cruel. However it has a very simple solution getting to it. My only hint is that it works best to head for it at 3 o clock. My score is a staggering 113,120. This is a massive score to beat but I assure you if you try it can be done if you keep playing.
Air Raid! In Air Raid, this level was really all about playing with toys (both in the game and new PS3 hardware) for me. First off I did get the Metal Gear Solid and Pirates of the Carribean download packs and love them. In the level creator I learned something interesting that I am sure not many have seen. The Paintinator and Water don't mix. In other words a player can't take a paintinator with them while they swim. Probably for the better as we don't really need to create water color paint in the big blue. Nevertheless I decided to make this the staple to my first true Survival Challenge on LBP. I built a boat out of metal and enough polystyrene to make it float (for now) with only a single paintinator on the boat. After a "warm" welcome from yours truly the wall in the background explodes and ships start flying in trying to shoot you down. Obviously fight back. This survival challenge has six levels of increasing difficulty as you progress through the challenge. The first two are tolerable, and after that you really gotta keep on your toes. In the first stage my fighter planes will come in shooting random shots at the boat so get a good spot and mow them down without too much trouble. After a bit the next stage of the survival challenge kicks in and bombers come in. They are carrying an impact explosive which will drop once they detect any sackperson. If you are good enough to pass them by for a few, more fighters will now start appearing and to make matters worse a missile launcher will appear to the left of the boat. When you see the missiles fly head for the center of the boat for the safest spot when they hit. However beware as you still have to keep an eye on the bombers and fighters flying overhead. Next just to be mean a laser guide satelite launcher will shoot down volleys of missles which will literally force the boat underwater making you drop your paintinator. Your best bet is to get to the right of the boat as much as possible and try to shoot down as many missiles as possible to prevent the submerge. Don't worry it will rise back up but you will have to get rearmed as fast as possible. Next if that wasn't enough bouys will drop which upon close inspection are carring an armed torpedo. You have about 30 seconds to knock 10 hits into the weakpoint of the buoy to stop the torpedo. If it launches it will hit the underside of the boat which will cause it to sink. The first two hits are not bad, but after that it will become extremly difficult to continue because the paintator generator will mostly be underwater. If you survive all of this then I have a nasty final phase, a small boss battle against me. I will emerge from the depths armed with a plasma vulcan cannon and a impact explosive launcher. Score 30 hits on me and you will sink me and then your boat will start emitting score bubbles to greatly launch your score. I won't show up again once you beat me though but you can expect more buoys to keep you busy. Additional features After sucessfully surviving each phase of the challenge a new prize bubble will drop containing on the objects I used to create the stage. They are unlocked so use them with pride in your levels (you earned them after all). Level complete prizes are some sample shots I used with my PS Eye to show you my supporters. If you are good enough to survive all the way past the boss. You will earn stickers of screen shots on how I built the level. I hope you are inspired by them. Ninja Warrior 23 - Stage 1 and 2 I wanted to celebrate the upcoming 23rd Sasuke (or in other parts of the normal world call it Ninja Warrior) to be aired on American television. I consider my not-so-sack-like-self fortunate to be able to see the original Japanese broadcast and used it as an inspiration to build my first score challenge off of the newest first stage. Here is a picture at the start of the track symbolizing the "Sasuke" monument which is found at the start of the track. I hope I made the obstacles to challenge every sackperson like me in speed and skill. Of course there are two obstacles brand new so I hope it also provides a new and unique challenge in comparison to existing stages out there. I will confess I have one minor error in the stage. If you do the warped wall incorrectly you may "break" your ability to climb it again so you have to be careful. I am working to get this fixed but it has not been easy. Another awkward but passible error is that my springboard midway through really launches you but that adds to the challenge to clear the obstacle it is involved. What I hope to be a inspiration to other creators is that this level features a training mode and championship mode, with the flip of a switch at the start of the stage, you will remove the race gate and instead receive checkpoints through out the level. Of course in training mode you won't get prizes but you will receive the opportunity to carefully practice each obstacle before finally playing for score. In championship mode you are racing against a really tight clock so there is no time to smell the awkward food-colored carnations at your local grocer. Also if you fail the stage, the game over with no grand prize. Stage 2 is now only and it will only be available to those who can beat my first stage in championship mode. Tug-o-War (2P Only) The stage I have created this time is strictly two player. Sorry soloists you will have to get a friend in order to play a game where you try to drop them into a skewer. In "Tug-o-War" both players must grab an end of a rope and try to drag the opponent to the center wall where then their platform they stand on will disappear. Oh yeah one more thing. To make things interesting the rope shrinks in length through out the match. The winner receives a trophy. The loser receives a pad on the back from the winner, which then they slap the winner, and then the winner will frown and will also feel bad. Well I sure hope not but that is what I have seen so far from previous sackpersons. But that is LBP I guess. Anyways I sure hope these levels are enjoyed and of course will enjoy any feedback that can be provided. (^^)v

On a minor note I have a few new Levels to share:
Space Duck First off Space Duck, well its not really a level. More of a embarrassment. Just play it to see why I was bored last night.
Laser Dodge Survival Challenge LBW5 This is my LBW5 (LittleBigWorkshop.com May Contest Entry) level. In this survival challenge just don't touch the lasers and collect score bubbles. How long can you survive?
