Well, first there was this game called Taiko Drum master. It had all our favorite songs with some other stuff thrown in there (like a bit of soulcalibur 3) and it was played by a taiko drum controller for the PS2. It looked like this:  And NONE of the songs there were from DDR (or IIDX). They were, for example, My sharona (I know, but non remixed) ABC, and I'm a believer. Now, while browsing around YouTube, I find a sequel for the wii and some songs in it. Look, feel, cry. (or import) 3y3sFascination MaxxPluto RelenquishAnd there's more. Thoughts?

Taiko drum master has like 10 versions in japan, i think most are like family based, party mixes. but To be honest, a moded PS2 import on these have a few anime songs that you may like.
but im sure i saw a taiko emulator for PC somewhere, which could handle imported data, so if i ever find it again (or google search it) you can probably use some DDR mixes on it.
and the reason the American ver. released awhile ago sucked is cuz the consumers market thinks we still like it as a party game, with the exception of maybe that really fast one (castle int he title somewhere) being the only good song lol.
Ya im good...ya i just beat you on Trip Machine Climax on DDR-GB3....no i dont have a life T_T

I mean, the only song I actually continued to fail on was Ridge Racer - Oni
And that was cleared eventually...
But the game seriously needed harder songs, and apperently they won't release it.

i remeber this game too well - i sold it to a friend after i lost interest, but no doubt if you have the money to import the JP versions, do so, i've seen videos and heard the songs, no doubt if your really good, check out the other mixes.
