Contests!

Edit Chart Contest

Right now we are holding a new contest, an Edit Chart Contest. Basically this is the chance for you all to say what the steps to our songs you think they should be. The rules are simple:

• Create an DDR Edit Chart to any eligible song on the Encore Database.
• Songs with a Challenge chart already in them are ineligible.
• No "10" Foot Rated or higher step charts will be accepted, we want unique steps not boss rush, ITG style.
• Roll Arrows, Lone Mines, Shock Arrow Mines, Hand Steps or any form of a gimmick are not permitted. Strictly arcade DDR style.
• You must have a Single AND Double chart!
• No Pump It Up, ParaParaParadise, DDR Solo, or any other form of Stepmania compatible step chart will be accepted.
• Name the edit file under your name.
• Simply e-mail the .SM file only to Spork by clicking this link.
• Judging will be done by Spork and other members of the DDR Encore Team. All decisions final.
• Winners will see their file pernamently added as a Challenge chart to the song file for everyone to download! (Oh and they will get 5 bucks from Spork.)

2009 Web Contest Winners

Our congratulations to Chimurek and Lisek as the top winners from Step Contest I and DodrioGirl from the Myst's Freestyle Contest. These winners will soon be receiving their prizes from their efforts to promote our project. Look forward to new contests in 2010!

Sporktoberfest 2009

Step Contest I

We now have a Stepmania DDR Pad Style simfile competition! Do you think you can step songs that would play great as if was on Dance Dance Revolution? Then this contest is for you. Join us in a unique and challenging single-elimination style like tournament to see who is the best stepper in all of the lands. Top prize package includes a Beatmania Watch, DDR Encore Coffee Tumbler, a Walmart Gift Card, and a 30 day pass into our secret playtest forum! Sporktoberfest 2008
